Randomly did this in Apoph3D...supposedly took 12 hours. I like it...should work for a planet thing I'm trying to do.

Edit: Uploaded a pack for the wallpapers. I only have the widths onhand, but the height is just a little smaller than normal monitor ratio. Won't be too noticible if you stretch it. And don't worry, the text on the preview itself is rather large. Its less so in the actual wallpapers.
