Artist's Comments

An uninhabited system, protected on one side by a nebula. An eternal system, unchanging. The single solid planet is too close to the sun to be hit by comets, and the gas giant simply isn't affected by them. An eternal system, radiating its light until it dies.

  • A total of 50 layers
  • 14 hours render time for background fractal
  • Total time spent: ~1 month on and off because of school and work
  • Full size:
    3200 x 2486
    20 x 15.54 inches
    160 ppi




Printed this up as a Christmas present for my mother.
