Space Chase

Well, this is my first time trying this sort of thing, and I must say I'm relatively pleased with it. I'm also rather grateful to Qzma for providing the tutorials to make this possible, as well as the texture for the planet itself. (Once I get Google Earth installed I'll make the textures myself). The only thing I'm kinda disappointed on is the starfield itself, but I was warned that the specific method didn't work well for large images. The orange 'lights' on the planet are meant to simulate city lights.

The X-Wing was taken from here, while the TIE fighters were taken from here. All in all, around 30 to 50 layers, with the sun taking up around 10 to 15 of them.

Other than the texture used to create the planet and the starfighters, this was created from scratch. And the texture was flat, by the way, very very flat. I put it under Mixed Media because I used both photomanipulation and rendering.
